Core One is seeking a Special Security Technician to support the DCSA-SPO program. *This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance* Responsibilities: Assist in writing and implementing SAP security policy, SOPs, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and Transportation Security Plans (TSPs) and advise and assist PM in the development of Security Classification Guides (SCGs) for all SAPs, to include those complex in nature. Personnel performing this duty must possess strong writing skills. Advise senior officials on a broad range of program security issues including system threat vulnerability assessments, system security requirements, architectures, and security risk mitigation plans. Assist clients in researching and defining security problems. Personnel performing this duty must possess strong oral communication skills, the ability to relate to a diverse customer base, and general knowledge of DoD operations. Must be capable of operating in the NCR and other locations as required." Using National Industrial Security System (NISS) verify and track Facility Clearance (FCL) status related to DCSA Acquisitions efforts. Provide updates regarding any changes to FCL to INDSEC Program Manager. Using National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Contract Classification System (NCCS) draft, review, and revise DD Form 254s as directed by the INDSEC Program Manager. Develop all SAPF accreditation documentation for each SAPF and organize its tabbed binder. Additionally electronic sources and data should be filed within a defined graphic user interface database. Interface with personnel at the OSD level related to security matters and be capable of explaining the reason security actions were taken or are about to be taken in support of the program Draft, prepare, review, assist with implementation, and track guidelines or procedures and assist in preparing official correspondence in response to tasking and suspense actions. Manage briefing and debriefing scheduling, training, and compliance Qualifications: TS/SCI Clearance  Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category. 3-10 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Possess integrated security services skill sets in the following areas: SSO operations; SCIF operations; SCI Personnel Security; SCI Information Security; SCI Physical Security; SCI TEMPEST actions and procedures; and SCI Industrial Security. The Contractor shall have recent, in-depth, Government/Contractor SSO operations experience, and recent, in-depth SCIF operations experience Possess strong customer service skills to handle customers’ questions, complaints, and requested support in a professional, personable and courteous manner. Areas of expertise shall include computer operations, SCIF procedures, use of secure telephones, removal of classified information, indoctrinating personnel, and accepting security clearances from external agencies to other security and non-security issues occurring during day-to-day SCIF operations.   Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance   Salary Range: $100,000 - $104,000 The pay range reflected above is a general guideline for this position and labor category and is not a guarantee of a specific salary or offer.
