You’ll join a privately owned, physician-led practice where local teams have the flexibility to respond to the needs of their patients and community rather than operating under a one-size-fits-all corporate model. Day-to-day, you’ll provide care within a women’s health setting while working closely with physicians, clinical staff, and medical assistants. The practice is looking for an APP who can develop into a trusted clinical presence—someone who communicates well, takes ownership of patient care, and understands the leadership responsibility that comes with being an advanced practice provider. Just as important as clinical experience is genuine interest in the community. This role is best suited for someone who sees Lake Havasu as a place to establish roots, enjoys the outdoor lifestyle and smaller-community environment, and wants to become a lasting part of the practice and the population it serves. Experienced APPs are welcome, and select new-graduate NPs may also be considered when they bring relevant labor and delivery experience, professional maturity, and a strong commitment to developing their career in women’s health. Why This Role Stands Out Join a privately owned, physician-led organization with four physician owners and no intention of pursuing private equity ownership Build a long-term clinical presence in a community where your work and relationships can have a visible impact Benefit from schedule flexibility , including the potential for a four-day, 10-hour schedule depending on staffing Work with medical assistant and AI scribe support designed to reduce administrative burden and support clinical efficiency Grow beyond direct patient care through potential compensated leadership opportunities Become part of a practice that values maturity, engagement, continued learning, and meaningful connection to the community What We’re Looking For A PA or NP with a genuine interest in women’s health and community-based practice Someone who is committed to living and working in Lake Havasu City for the long term A mature, dependable clinician who recognizes the APP role as both a clinical and leadership position A collaborative provider who works well with physicians, APPs, and support staff Someone who is hardworking, engaged, adaptable, and open to continued learning A clear communicator who can build trust with patients and colleagues Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care within a women’s health practice Evaluate patients, obtain histories, perform examinations, and develop appropriate care plans Order and interpret diagnostic testing within scope of practice Diagnose and manage conditions appropriate to the provider’s training, certification, and clinical privileges Provide patient education, counseling, follow-up care, and preventive health guidance Collaborate closely with physicians and other members of the clinical team Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation Utilize available medical assistant and AI scribe support to maintain an efficient patient-care workflow Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and members of the care team Participate in ongoing clinical learning and professional development Serve as a professional representative and clinical leader within the practice Support a patient-centered culture responsive to the needs of the Lake Havasu community Required Qualifications Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Active Arizona license Current board certification applicable to the provider’s discipline For Nurse Practitioners, FNP or WHNP board certification required Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English Ability and willingness to establish a long-term professional presence in Lake Havasu City Preferred Background Physician Assistant preferred At least one year of experience in women’s health or family practice preferred Experienced APPs are strongly encouraged to apply New-graduate NPs may be considered with relevant labor and delivery experience and strong overall fit Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable Demonstrated leadership, professional maturity, and commitment to community-based care Medical-language proficiency may qualify for an additional language stipend, subject to applicable proficiency requirements This Role Is Likely a Fit If You… Want Lake Havasu City to be your home, not simply your next assignment Enjoy working in a smaller community where providers can build meaningful patient relationships Value being part of a physician-led, privately owned organization Want enough flexibility to consider schedule structures outside the traditional five-day workweek Take ownership of your work and are comfortable being viewed as a clinical leader Appreciate an outdoor-oriented lifestyle and the independence that comes with practicing in a more geographically isolated community This Role May Not Be a Fit If You… Are primarily looking for a short-term position before relocating to another market Prefer a large metropolitan environment or need immediate access to a major urban center Are looking for a strictly Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule Prefer a role with minimal leadership expectations or limited ownership of patient care Are not interested in establishing long-term ties to the Lake Havasu community Prefer a highly corporate or private-equity-backed practice environment Why Join Us This position offers the chance to do more than fill a clinical schedule. You can become a trusted provider in a community that needs committed advanced practice clinicians while building your career within a privately owned, physician-led organization. Competitive compensation, relocation assistance, retention incentives, flexible scheduling possibilities, clinical support, and potential leadership opportunities add to the long-term value of the role.
