WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Located at our Byron Center, MI location, the position of Warehouse Associate is in place for the purpose of unloading trucks, inventory control, pulling components for customers, and ensuring that all areas of production are properly staged for production. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Ensuring the proper quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all material being delivered from vendors
Maintaining the organization, maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse area, assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
Working with shipping to pull individual components for customer orders
Ensuring that CNC and prep areas are properly supplied for the day’s production and prep
Performing other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma/GED required
Prior material handling work
Prior warehouse management would be considered a plus
Knowledge of exterior doors would be considered a plus, but not required
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently
Safe working practices
Natural detail-orientation
Ability to accurately read orders and stage material to internal customer needs
Desire to “do things right the first time”
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs.
