The Opportunity As a Senior Strategist, Paid Search B2B, you’ll be responsible for leading paid search strategy, activation and thought leadership across a portfolio of B2B clients. You’ll bring a strong understanding of how search can drive demand throughout the B2B buyer journey, from initial consideration and lead generation through qualified opportunities, pipeline and revenue. You have a deep passion for staying on top of trends and understand how paid search fits into the broader B2B media and demand generation ecosystem. You’ll work closely with cross-disciplinary teams across both challenger and enterprise accounts, managing performance, driving growth and helping clients shift their thinking beyond basic campaign metrics to connect paid search investment with broader marketing, sales and business outcomes. What you’ll do: Provide paid search strategy & conduct routine audits on your portfolio of B2B  accounts across platforms  (Google and Microsoft) and tactics (Brand, Non-Brand, PMAX, Demand Gen, Competitor, and other emerging search opportunities) Develop paid search strategies designed to generate qualified leads, opportunities, and sales pipeline, aligning campaign strategy with each client’s business objectives Deliver activation excellence on campaign builds, pacing management and optimization deployment Conduct keyword research, writing ad copy, optimizations and establishing bidding strategies to meet and exceed client KPIs Perform QA for all campaign builds, edits, landing pages, URL tags, campaign settings and measurement studies Leverage CRM, marketing automation and analytics data to evaluate paid search performance beyond the initial website conversion and identify the campaigns, keywords and audiences driving the greatest business value Partner with client and internal teams to develop measurement approaches and feedback loops that connect paid search activity to lead quality, sales outcomes, pipeline, and revenue Be a storyteller: turning complex search strategies into compelling campaign recommendations Maintain high standards across media planning, forecasting, budgeting, campaign setup, learning agenda development, and performance analysis Cultivate strong relationships with clients by providing POVs, industry trends, platform updates and acting as a trusted advisor on search and digital marketing Support new business initiatives and pitches by conducting platform audits and recommendations   Who will love this role:  A paid search marketer who is passionate about the ever-changing media landscape and the evolving role search plays within B2B marketing A data-driven decision-maker who enjoys connecting media performance to lead quality, pipeline and business growth Someone who is curious about the full customer journey and wants to understand what happens after a prospect converts A people person who enjoys building close relationships with teams, partners, and clients Someone who is passionate about sharing thought leadership and new ideas through presentations, blogs, and other content channels A problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions    You should have:  4-6 years of hands-on paid search experience, including substantial experience developing and optimizing SEM programs for B2B organizations with lead-generation, pipeline and revenue objectives Demonstrated experience developing and executing paid search strategies designed to generate qualified leads, opportunities and sales pipeline Ability to anticipate client requests, team and agency needs and provide proactive solutions Experience working with CRM and marketing automation data to evaluate paid search performance beyond the initial website conversion; experience with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo or similar strongly preferred Certifications in digital marketing and/or paid search media strategy are a plus ( Google Analytics Certification, Microsoft Advertising Search Certification, Google Ads Search Certification, etc.)   Perks and Benefits: Full medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as generous retirement program  Thoughtful parental leave and return program Flexible Time Off, holidays, quarterly Company “Recharge” Days, and holiday closure in December Ongoing learning and development opportunities   Code3’s people are what set us apart.
