Developing Holistic Media Planning Strategies Design and drive client conversation on full funnel media plans that ensure brand messages connect with consumers across digital touchpoints Collaborate with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of business objectives, target demographics, and market conditions. Liaise with the activation team & monitor campaign performance proactively with team across all channels. Work on briefs provided by business teams to create comprehensive, data-driven media plans, optimizing for key metrics such as reach, frequency, engagement, and conversion. Develop media plans featuring detailed channel mixes, budget allocations, flighting schedules, and KPIs covering: Digital: Programmatic (display, video, audio), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X), search (Google Ads, Bing Ads), native ads, CTV/OTT. Collaborate with CTG/investment teams to craft strategic recommendations and present well-justified media strategies across all platforms. Recommend the best media mix, flighting, and budget allocation to maximize campaign impact. Manage and reconcile media budgets for digital campaigns with precision. Prepare and present media plans, rationales, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. Identify interdependencies, trends, and opportunities for cross-channel optimization. Adjust media plans using data-backed insights, such as shifting budgets, refining audiences, or rotating creative assets to drive effectiveness and return on investment (ROI). Communicate complex media strategies and their rationale to clients and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. 2. Cross-Channel Execution & Optimization Oversee the flawless implementation of digital media campaigns developed by planning teams. Coordinate with internal teams (Ad Operations, Analytics, Account Management) and external partners (vendors, publishers) to ensure seamless execution. 3. Performance Analysis & Insights Collaboration with Strategy and Choreograph team on regular intervals Consolidate campaign data to provide a comprehensive view of campaign results. Generate insightful reports that not only measure performance but also deliver strategic recommendations and actionable insights for future campaigns. Utilize various analytics tools, including Yumi, Clear decisions, TGI, IRIS, Nielsen, Comscore, Google Analytics, platform dashboards, and ad servers, to extract and present data effectively. 4. Market Intelligence & Collaboration Stay informed about the evolving media landscape, identifying new trends, technologies, and best practices in both traditional and digital spaces. Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, publishers, and internal cross-functional teams to encourage innovation and streamline campaign delivery. 5. Relationship Management Develop and nurture relationships with media vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to advance WPP’s media planning vision. Remain up to date with emerging media opportunities and industry trends. Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as Account, Creative, Analytics, and Ad Operations. 6. Continuous Learning & Development Keep current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the media industry. Participate in training sessions and industry events. Contribute to knowledge sharing across the media team.
