Requirements What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing maintenance and repair work across our residential properties and company facilities. Responsibilities Complete maintenance work orders professionally and in a timely manner Perform general repairs, including: Basic electrical work Plumbing repairs Carpentry and drywall repairs Painting and touch-ups General property maintenance Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions Perform preventative maintenance to reduce future repair needs Assist with exterior property upkeep and seasonal maintenance tasks Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members Respond to occasional after-hours emergency maintenance calls when necessary What We're Looking For Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, remodeling, or handyman services Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair practices Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Positive attitude and strong work ethic Reliable and dependable Required Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Basic hand and power tools necessary for routine maintenance work Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the day Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Benefits Why Join Smoker Property Management?
