POSITION SUMMARY The Marketing Manager Hepatology will support the continued success of LIVMARLI and preparation for future launches within the Hepatology Business Unit by translating global and regional brand strategies into locally relevant plans and initiatives for Germany. Working closely with the General Manager DACH, Regional Marketing, and local cross-functional teams, the Marketing Manager will develop and execute German brand and tactical plans across healthcare professional, patient, digital, and field channels. The role will contribute German market and customer insights to regional and global brand planning and ensure effective, compliant, and high-quality local execution. This role is ideal for a motivated, resourceful, scientifically minded, and digitally savvy professional who takes initiative, enjoys working collaboratively in a dynamic environment, and is passionate about making a meaningful difference for patients with rare diseases.   JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute the German brand and tactical plans for LIVMARLI in close collaboration with the General Manager DACH and in alignment with global and regional brand strategies. Translate global and regional brand strategies and initiatives into locally relevant marketing activities, adapting execution to German market needs, customer insights, and regulatory requirements. Work closely with Regional Marketing and relevant Global teams to ensure alignment, leverage initiatives and best practices, and contribute German market insights to broader brand planning. Develop a strong understanding of the German hepatology and rare disease landscape, customer needs, patient journey, and competitive environment, and apply these insights to local marketing activities. Develop and implement branded and unbranded marketing initiatives, materials, and field resources across relevant HCP, patient, and digital channels in alignment with strategic objectives and compliance requirements. Support marketing activities and workstreams for the launch readiness of future Hepatology products in collaboration with the General Manager DACH, Regional Marketing, and local cross-functional partners. Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Operations, and Field Teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of local brand priorities. Manage creative agencies and other external partners, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely delivery of marketing initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS Education /Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field required 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, product management, or commercial operations, ideally in rare disease. 2+ years of field and customer facing experience in pharma or biotech.   Knowledge and Skills: Applies strategic thinking to translate global and regional brand strategies into actionable local priorities and initiatives. Works effectively in a matrix organization and builds strong relationships across local, regional, and global teams. Maintains a strong customer and market orientation and translates customer, market, and field insights into impactful marketing initiatives. Possesses strong organizational, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Brings creativity and innovative thinking, challenges the status quo, and looks for the “why” behind the “what.” Is digitally fluent and comfortable with digital channels, systems, analytics platforms, and campaign tools. Applies an analytical mindset to synthesize data and insights, inform decisions, and continuously improve marketing activities. Collaborates effectively across functions and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
