What Will You Do Support the end-to-end processes of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable accounting Provide accurate data for weekly cash flow forecasting and payment proposals for assigned entities Assist the team with maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts Act as the primary point of contact for incoming accounting-related mail and emails; handle inquiries independently or forward them to the appropriate person when necessary Review, verify, and post incoming invoices, including managing associated workflows and administrative tasks Support day-to-day accounting operations Clarify and reconcile accounts payable and inter company accounts Prepare payments and assist with payment runs Contribute to the creation of statistics, reports, and ad-hoc analyses Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in accordance with HGB/IFRS standards Support the optimization of existing accounting and administrative processes What Will You Bring Successfully completed vocational training in a commercial or business-related field At least 4–5 years of professional experience in accounting, e.g. in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger accounting, or a combination of these areas Native-level or excellent business-level German and negotiation-ready English skills are required Professional experience with HGB (German GAAP) or IFRS Strong aptitude for numbers and a solid understanding of fundamental legal and regulatory accounting requirements Experience with ERP systems is required; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is an advantage Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word Structured, reliable, and independent working style with a keen eye for detail Hands-on mentality, team orientation, and a willingness to take on operational tasks What We Offer Securing your long-term financial future with our company pension scheme in partnership with Allianz Choose what matters most to you via our Personalized Benefits platform with a monthly budget of €100: mobility allowance (e.g., BVG/HVV), internet allowance, childcare subsidy, Urban Sports Club membership, personal development, or shopping vouchers Support for your mental health through our workplace mental health solution from Nilo Health Professional skill development via our annual training budget, internal webinars, and German and English language courses 27 days of vacation plus 3 additional wellness days per year—on top of public holidays … and many more reasons to join our team!
