Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an Infrastructure Operations & Management Manager for one of our partners, a leading Digital Bank! THE ROLE You run the ground the digital bank stands on. You will ensure the bank’s data-centre, compute, storage, network and backup platforms are secure, resilient and ready to support growth. You will combine strong operational discipline with automation, infrastructure as code and clear service ownership. In a bank, infrastructure must do more than run. It must recover, scale and produce the evidence to prove it is under control. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead the operation of staging, production and regulatory data-centre environments. Operate the core infrastructure across servers, operating systems, virtualisation, storage, networks and supporting platforms. Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve consistency, traceability and recovery. Own backup, restore and data-protection operations, ensuring recovery objectives are defined, monitored and tested. Lead disaster-recovery capability and prove readiness through regular technical and business-aligned exercises. Plan availability, resilience, performance and capacity ahead of demand. Manage upgrades, vulnerability remediation and infrastructure lifecycle. Define operational standards, support models, runbooks and escalation paths across infrastructure services. Work with security to embed hardening, access control, logging and regulatory requirements into the environment. Manage data-centre, hardware, hosting and infrastructure vendors against clear service levels. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 7+ years in infrastructure operations, platform operations or data-centre management. Hands-on depth across servers, operating systems, virtualisation, storage, backup and networking. Experience operating highly available, regulated production environments. Practical knowledge of automation, infrastructure as code, configuration management and monitoring. Strong experience in disaster recovery, capacity planning and operational resilience. Familiarity with audit and regulatory expectations is valuable but not essential.
