We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Developer / Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in SharePoint Development and SharePoint Administration to work on enterprise Business Platforms and Enterprise Systems. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of relevant SharePoint development and design experience , with strong knowledge of SharePoint customization, administration, configuration, integrations, and enterprise application development. Experience with SharePoint migration/upgrade projects , particularly SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) , will be highly preferred. The role also provides an opportunity to work with modern full-stack technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js . These skills are preferred but are not mandatory for candidates with strong SharePoint expertise. Requirements Key Responsibilities Design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise SharePoint applications and solutions. Perform hands-on SharePoint development and design across enterprise platforms. Perform SharePoint administration and configuration , including SharePoint services and related components. Develop and integrate solutions using REST APIs . Work with C#, SQL, CSOM, and JSOM for SharePoint application development and customization. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for SharePoint administration, automation, configuration, and operational activities. Work with IIS, hosting environments, Web Application Pools, account permissions , and related infrastructure-level components. Support SharePoint deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and production activities. Participate in SharePoint migration and upgrade initiatives , with particular preference for experience migrating SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) . Contribute to enterprise application architecture and technical solution design. Ensure technical and application architecture and design meet required quality, security, scalability, and maintainability standards. Follow established coding, security, unit testing, documentation, and development standards . Research, evaluate, and benchmark technologies against industry best practices and best-in-class solutions. Collaborate with multiple technical and business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Share technical knowledge and best practices with engineering teams to improve productivity and effectiveness. Work independently, take ownership of assigned initiatives, and drive activities through to completion with minimal supervision. Participate in Agile methodologies , ceremonies, and collaborative delivery practices. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide appropriate solutions across development, application, and SharePoint environments. Communicate technical solutions and present ideas effectively to senior stakeholders and executive management. Required Technical Skills SharePoint – Mandatory 5+ years of hands-on SharePoint development and design experience. Strong experience in SharePoint Development . Strong experience in SharePoint Administration and configuration . Experience with SharePoint services and configuration . Experience with REST APIs . Strong development experience with: C# SQL CSOM JSOM Knowledge of PowerShell scripting . Strong understanding of: IIS Hosting Web Application Pools Account Permissions SharePoint Migration / Upgrade Experience with SharePoint migration and upgrade projects is highly preferred. Experience with SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) migration is particularly desirable. Candidates with hands-on experience in enterprise SharePoint migration, upgrade, modernization, or version transition projects will be preferred. Full Stack – Preferred / Secondary The following skills are preferred but not mandatory : JavaScript TypeScript React.js Node.js Candidates with strong SharePoint expertise but limited full-stack experience should also be considered, provided they demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn modern full-stack technologies. Additional / Good-to-Have Skills Nintex experience is a good-to-have. SharePoint Developer certification is preferred but not mandatory . Advanced or intermediate SharePoint certifications will be advantageous, particularly for senior candidates. Exposure to infrastructure-level SharePoint activities is desirable. Functional / Domain Skills Experience working in an enterprise environment is preferred. Banking, financial services, or fintech experience is advantageous but not mandatory . Experience following established: Coding standards Security standards Unit testing practices Documentation standards Good understanding of Agile methodologies . Ability to contribute to technical and application architecture decisions. Ability to research and benchmark technologies against best-in-class solutions. Leadership & Soft Skills Ability to influence and collaborate with multiple technical teams on technology and architectural considerations. Ability to share technical knowledge and experience to improve team productivity and effectiveness. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently. Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong collaboration skills across technical and business teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior stakeholders. Comfortable presenting technical ideas and solutions to Senior and Executive Management . Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies. Education Bachelor's Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field . Equivalent relevant industry experience may also be considered. Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have: 5–10 years of relevant SharePoint experience Strong SharePoint Development + Administration experience C#, SQL, CSOM, JSOM and REST API expertise PowerShell scripting experience IIS, hosting, Web Application Pool and permissions knowledge SharePoint migration/upgrade experience SharePoint 2019 → Subscription Edition migration experience is highly preferred Nintex exposure is a plus SharePoint certification is a plus JavaScript / TypeScript / React / Node.js exposure is preferred Enterprise environment experience Strong ownership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
