Position Overview: The Technology Delivery Lead is responsible for taking Focus Partners Australia's (FPA) technology and business projects from plan to landed outcome. This is an autonomous hands-on delivery role. This role is accountable for establishing a lean project management discipline and run projects properly with a clear plan, defined ownership, sensible governance and adoption built in from day one. Implementing structure so that our initiatives deliver real value rather than stalling after go-live. With a significant pipeline of work to deliver across the Accounting, Credit and Wealth service lines, the role will support projects across all three. Critically this role blends delivery leadership with business analysis. You will both shape requirements and drive delivery, working closely with the Head of Technology and Data, internal and external stakeholders. The role owns the delivery discipline that makes projects succeed, and partners closely with Operations on change and adoption. Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months    Key Responsibilities: Project delivery Own the end-to-end delivery of assigned technology, data and AI projects across the Accounting, Credit and Wealth service lines, from planning through to a landed, adopted outcome Build and maintain clear, practical project plans with milestones, owners, dependencies and delivery dates, Run a consistent delivery rhythm, including working sessions, status updates, risk management and stakeholder reporting Apply lean, fit for purpose governance rather than heavy process, in line with agreed minimum standards (clear owner, plan, dependencies, RACI, and a way to track whether it is landing) Business analysis and requirements Capture and document business requirements by working directly with teams across the service lines, including advisers, client services, operations and support functions Map current state and future state processes, identify pain points and pinpoint the specific opportunities to improve, automate or simplify Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for internal and vendor build Delivery governance and controls Own the project artefacts that keep delivery on track: RAID log, decision log, action tracker, dependencies and status reporting Plan and coordinate UAT, including test planning, coordination of testers, defect tracking and sign off Track benefits and outcomes so we can show the value each initiative delivers Maintain a clear view of the project roadmap and dependencies across the portfolio Vendor and partner coordination Coordinate specialist delivery partners through their scope of work, holding them to agreed deliverables, timelines and quality Support statement of work definition, review of deliverables and vendor delivery governance Stakeholder engagement and adoption Build strong working relationships across the service lines and keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout delivery Partner with Operations on change management, team messaging and adoption, supporting the change lead rather than owning the people impact Support training and adoption activities so solutions are used and value is realised, not just delivered   Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 8+ years in a delivery, project management or hybrid BA and delivery role, ideally within financial services, wealth or professional services Demonstrable experience delivering technology or process projects end to end, from requirements through to adoption Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping and UAT coordination Experience coordinating external delivery partners and vendors against a scope of work Experience with delivery tooling and artefacts (project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, status reporting) Exposure to advice, accounting or credit processes and related platforms is a strong advantage Relevant certifications (for example PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or CBAP) are desirable but practical delivery track record matters most   Skills and Attributes: A doer who takes ownership and lands outcomes, not just someone who documents and hands off Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to build relationships, ask the right questions and push politely to get results Comfortable blending delivery leadership with hands on business analysis in a lean team Well organised and structured, bringing order and discipline without creating unnecessary process Clear, outcome focused communicator who can tell the story of what is changing and why it matter Comfortable working across multiple business lines with competing priorities Practical and pragmatic, able to right size governance to the project in front of them     About Focus Partners Australia Focus Partners Australia is part of Focus Financial Partners, a leading financial services firm based in the United States, comprised of wealth management, family office, and business management services.
