Role Summary   The primary responsibility for this position is to provide quality after-issue servicing of life insurance and annuity products. This role processes policy changes in accordance with contractual provisions, product specifications, company policies, and state regulations while providing timely and accurate service.    The incumbent collaborates with producers, policy owners, field associates, and multiple home office business units to complete after-issue transactions and resolve servicing requests. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.  This position currently offers an onsite work schedule, with the expectation that you will be in the office four (4) days per week during onsite core days.  Our current onsite core days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities   Analyze requests from policy owners or field associates by reviewing product specifications, contractual language, rate books, and agent guides. Review requests for completeness and communicate missing requirements to agents or policy owners. Order underwriting requirements, including medical exams, RX reports, MIB, motor vehicle reports, and other requested evidence.  Process submitted transactions accurately within established service standards.  Perform final review of policy changes, calculate premium and commission impacts, and prepare required documentation.  Update administrative and supporting systems to complete policy changes.  Perform quality reviews and distribute required forms and documentation.  Maintain permanent electronic records and complete follow-up activities as appropriate. Support SEC, FINRA, state, and transactional audits.  Determine whether grace period and/or lapse notifications should be sent to policyholders.  Perform all other duties as assigned.    Minimum Qualifications    High School diploma. Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.  Maintain confidentiality.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to meet deadlines and work independently and collaboratively.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.  Ability to pass a background check.  Completion of LOMA FLMI Level 1 Courses 280 and 290 within the first year of employment.    Preferred Qualifications    Strong math skills.  ACA and ALMI LOMA designations.  Previous insurance or financial services experience.    AI Proficiency Expectations:   At National Life Group, we view AI as an enabler of human potential. Base Pay Range .  The base pay range for this position is the range National Life reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors, including: prior experience and job-related knowledge; education, training and certificates; current business needs; and market factors.  The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additional Compensation and Benefits . The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in National Life’s discretionary annual incentive programs, subject to the rules governing such programs.
