Position Summary   Crescent FLO’s are responsible to move the necessary materials throughout the warehouse in an effective, efficient, and very safe manner.    FLO’s are responsible to provide the necessary logistics services to our internal and external customers. The FLO’s processes will operate as outlined in the Crescent Way- 3 P’s:   Purpose   Process   People   While building on our culture of:   Doing it Right   Doing it Safe   Doing it Well   Essential Duties and Responsibilities   Safety   Read, understand, and follow the Doing it Safe Playbook.   Maintains a valid and current OSHA certification   Understands and complies with all safety requirements.   100% completion rate of pre-shift checklists that are accurate and according to procedure   Ensure OSHA certification is valid and current   Do not walk by any unsafe act or behavior.   Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.   Completes trailer inspection forms accurately and according to procedure.   Operate forklift in a safe manner in trailer, warehouse, production floor, and around other workers.   People    Motivated member of the Crescent team.   Ability to work and complete individually assigned tasks.   Work well in high paced environment.   Work closely with other FLO’s, Line Leads, Shipping and Receiving, and Supervisors to complete tasks on time, resolve issues, and continuously improve.   Ability to learn tasks, layout, and customer requirements quickly.   Ability to operate warehouse management system.   Productivity   Operate forklift efficiently to maximize productive time.   Communicate with Production to prioritize, pull, and stage inventory accurately and according to procedure to ensure efficient line operation.   Efficiently load and unload trailers to maintain turnaround times for each dock appointment.   Communicate with lead and supervisor to maintain good workflow for assigned tasks.   Consistently reach pallets per hour productivity standard.   Quality    Load trucks according to Crescent and Customer requirements with consideration for weight, balance, and load security.   Report all safety, quality, near misses, accidents, mistakes, and product damages accurately and according to procedures.   Ability to accurately verify and count items to be picked, staged, or loaded.    Ensure the integrity of lot code is maintained through every product movement process.   Maintain customer or inventory separation when required.   Customer Value    Handle customer owned product with care and protect their brand.   Work efficiently to provide on time delivery for each customer request.   Identify and be a part of continuous improvement efforts.   Financial    Provide ideas to continually improve productivity, GMP’s, and RSW.   Continually seek out means to remove sources of waste throughout the warehouse. Resilient—able to deal with the unexpected.   Work Environment / Physical Demands   Fast paced environment, requiring FLO’s to follow specific guidelines and instructions to meet a set productivity goal.  The ability to establish repetitious routines, and be flexible to the flow of the business.    Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.   Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds   Possess the necessary level of hand / eye coordination to safely operate industrial equipment.   Knowledge, Skills, & Capability   Basic Math and Reading Skills   The ability to read instructions and perform simple math.   Decision Making   Confident and able to in Safety Observations   Pack-Manager Data Entry    Absenteeism   Ontime/ timely shipping.   Qualifications   Education & Experience:                                                                                                                        High school diploma and 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience .     Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.   Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.   Preferred Qualifications:   Regulatory GMP manufacturing experience   Lean manufacturing and continual process improvement experience   We will absolutely know the FLO is successful if they can:   Operate safe risk-free industrial equipment.   Achieve all Productivity and Quality targets.   Maintain an organized warehouse.   Maintain an accurate inventory count   Are able to successfully resolve issues from damage processing errors   Keep up with daily processing requirements of the DCA to prevent backlog   Establish and maintain effective communication to leadership/production team about errors and issues with damage processing.
