We hope you’ll join our team The Opportunity Chaparral Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate  Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing team of providers delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As an Internist, you will play a pivotal role in managing a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions, coordinating care with specialists, and helping patients live healthier lives. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, multi-specialty environment where your clinical expertise and commitment to excellence will directly impact the communities we serve. What you'll do Diagnose and treat a wide range of adult medical conditions, including infections, chronic illnesses (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease), and complex cases Provide comprehensive, ongoing care including preventive services, routine health maintenance, and chronic disease management Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs Prescribe medications and other treatments to support effective management of patient conditions Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, preventive strategies, and self-care for chronic disease management Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless and holistic treatment plans Maintain accurate, thorough, and up-to-date patient records in our EMR system Stay current on medical advancements, evidence-based care, and industry standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes Participate in team-based care and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical protocols and workflows Work with our Product team to continue to develop our AI and charting capabilities Who You Are Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution (required) Completed residency in Internal Medicine (required) Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in California (required) Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care Salary range $225,000 — $330,000 USD Chaparral Medical Group and Akido MSO are an equal opportunity employers, and we encourage qualified applicants of every background, ability, and life experience to contact us about appropriate employment opportunities.
