The Information Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the protection of TP's information systems, technology assets, and intellectual property against unauthorized access, cyber threats, data breaches, and other security risks. The role assists in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of information security controls, ensuring compliance with internal standards and security best practices. Key ResponsibilitiesInformation Security Operations Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure operating systems, networks, databases, and related infrastructure. Perform vulnerability assessments, including network-based and web application security scans. Support password auditing, malware protection, virus management, and intrusion detection activities. Monitor security events, system access logs, and alerts to identify potential security incidents and vulnerabilities. Assist in investigating and resolving information security incidents in accordance with established procedures. Risk Management & Compliance Participate in security risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews. Identify security weaknesses and support the development of mitigation plans and corrective actions. Provide recommendations regarding secure application design and security controls. Ensure adherence to internal information security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Business Continuity & Resilience Support security backup processes and disaster recovery planning activities. Assist in testing and validating recovery procedures to ensure business continuity. Contribute to maintaining documentation related to security controls, incidents, and recovery plans. Continuous Improvement Continuously improve day-to-day security processes and operational activities. Keep up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry best practices. Share knowledge and contribute to the development of effective and practical security solutions. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field. Experience Approximately 1-2 years of professional experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT Infrastructure, or a related area. Knowledge & Skills Understanding of information security principles, frameworks, and best practices. Knowledge of network security, operating systems, databases, and web application security. Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and security monitoring tools. Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and security controls. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently within established guidelines and procedures. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
