As a Senior Director, Channel Sales (APJ), you will lead a team of Channel Directors and Channel Business Managers responsible for our Partner Ecosystem across APJ. You will implement and manage an effective partner enablement strategy and operational cadence across the region, build strong, productive relationships with partners and within your team, and grow product adoption through a deep understanding of the risk landscape. What Will You Do? Primary responsibilities include: Own channel strategy for APJ Own employee development, coaching the next generation of sales leaders. Develop account and territory plans with tactical execution to grow wallet share with existing partners and reduce churn. Establish and maintain key partner and customer relationships across the region. Develop and implement strategies to expand product adoption across the partner ecosystem. Partner cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support to reduce churn, close deals, and drive revenue and product adoption. What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring? Ideal candidates will have: 10+ years of experience in partner/channel roles, with deep experience selling security products through the partner ecosystem across endpoint, identity, data, and cloud services. Proven ability to attract, recruit, and onboard top talent to build a high-performing Partner Business team. Ability to build a strategic plan and execute against it, consistently delivering expected results. Ability to prioritize engagement and support in line with the division's strategic focus. Proven sales management experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets while developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions. Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level stakeholders. Proven experience running an effective operational cadence covering pipeline generation and account/opportunity planning aligned with MEDDPICC qualification methodology, with a track record of driving incremental revenue collaboratively with partners. Demonstrated ability to adopt new perspectives and build relationships that cross organizational boundaries, developing a strong network of internal and external partner contacts. Excellent listening, organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills, with strong oral and written communication and the ability to persuade others to a particular point of view. Prior experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment; startup experience a plus. A growth mindset, with strong intellectual and emotional intelligence, technical acumen, and a passion for security. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience. Why SentinelOne?
