As the recognized expert in social media practices, you will profoundly influence client execution and long term creative plans related to social content and influencers – from content types and formats to KPIs and post-campaign analysis. You will pioneer innovations and create strategic roadmaps for clients in social, digital, and Gen-AI creative spaces (e.g., annual plans, ROI planning, collabs & social commerce), then identify and assemble the right implementation teams (in-house, WPP group, or external) to ensure strategies land effectively and are continuously optimized. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, a natural connector who can speak about creative work with clients and to creatives in their own language, and a passionate advocate for leveraging culture, community, data, and creativity to transform brands.   Key Responsibilities: Market Immersion & Trend Monitoring: Stay fully immersed in brand stories, audience understanding, cultural contexts, and best-in-class campaigns globally. Continuously monitor emerging social, creative, and influencer marketing trends and tools to inform strategy. Strategic Roadmap Development: Translate market insight into innovative, actionable roadmaps for brands by aligning social, content, and influencer marketing recommendations directly with client marketing goals. Senior Client & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate robust relationships with senior client teams, acting as a trusted advisor recognized for expertise in organic social, digital creative, and Generative AI Creative. Gen-AI Creative at Scale: Actively deploy and champion Generative AI tools and workflows (e.g., AI image/video generation, automated content adaptation) to drive creative scale and efficiency for clients - not just advocate, but demonstrate hands-on fluency in applying it to real briefs. Strategic Upselling & Cross-selling: Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell WPP Media's services: Creative Services, Social, Film Production, Adaptations Automation, Social Listening, and Campaign Measurement. Team Development: Mentor and inspire a rotating group of 1-2 executives/managers each quarter, fostering collaboration, excellence, and continuous growth while supporting team morale and engagement. WPP Network Navigation & In-housing: Strategically navigate the WPP ecosystem, facilitating seamless collaboration and in-housing initiatives between WPP agencies (e.g., WPP Production, VML, Ogilvy) to deliver integrated client solutions. Required Qualifications: 7-9 years of experience in a social and/or digital creative environments. A strong portfolio demonstrating innovative digital and social creative campaigns. Experience presenting to and building trust with senior marketing stakeholders. Experience with business development for creative businesses and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling. Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with a data-driven approach to creative solutions and campaign measurement. Prior experience mentoring or managing junior team members.
