Position Overview As a Private Duty Nurse with Centria Healthcare , you’ll deliver compassionate, one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their homes. Whether caring for a medically complex child or an adult recovering from a motor vehicle accident (MVA), you’ll be making a meaningful difference every day. We are currently looking for dedicated RNs and LPNs to join our team for several immediate openings in your area. Current Featured Opportunities We have immediate high-priority needs for the following cases. Whether you prefer pediatric playfulness or the stability of adult care, we have a match for you: Hamtramck (Pediatric): 8-month-old boy with RETTS syndrome, who is palliative, requires specialized care including G-tube management and frequent suctioning. His family, who does not speak English and relies on translation, is seeking a caregiver to provide play and comfort for him in their home. The home is pet free. Days (10:00am-10:00pm) Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun Hamtramck (Pediatric): 3-year-old girl requires a nurse with pediatric experience to manage her ventilator, tracheostomy, and G-tube feedings. She lives at home with her parents, siblings, and one dog, and her parents are her primary caregivers.  Days (8:00am-8:00pm) Mon/Tue/Thurs/Sat/Sun Hamtramck (Pediatric): 1-year-old boy, born at 36 weeks with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, chronic respiratory failure, and feeding intolerance, requires care involving a trach, ventilator, and G-tube. As an only child living in a pet-free home, he is cared for by his parents who do not speak English, requiring nurses to communicate using a translation app.  Days (6:00am-6:00pm) Every day; Nights (6:00pm-6:00am) Every day Eastpointe (Pediatric): A 20-year-old boy with cerebral palsy, a severe hypoxic ischemic brain injury, and dependence on a trach, vent, and Bi Pap, is primarily cared for by his mother in a home free of siblings, pets, and smoking. Nights (7:00pm-7:00am) Sun-Thurs, E/O Fri/Sat. Taylor (Adult): This 33-year-old quadriplegic male who is very nice and funny! He is vent-dependent and requires comprehensive care, including trach care/suctioning, cough assist, Passive ROM, Suprapubic Catheter Care, and turning/repositioning. He is able to communicate his wants and needs. Days (9:00am-5:00pm) Tue/Wed/Thurs & E/O Sat. Dearborn (Pediatric): A 23-year-old, non-mobile female who requires 24/7 vent, G-tube, and trach care is seeking experienced RNs for her care, which involves turning but no lifting. Fully cognitive and friendly (smiles, great hearing), she enjoys movies and being read to in her clean, non-smoking, pet-free home. Nights (11:00pm-7:00am) Mon/Tue/Wed/Sat/Sun     Why Join Centria? Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care (Trach/Vent management, G-Tube/GJ-Tube feedings, medication administration). Monitor and document vitals and symptoms within our integrated EMR system. Assist with ADLs (repositioning, hygiene, and mobility). Collaborate with families and the clinical team to ensure superior patient outcomes. Qualifications Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan. Experience in home health or private duty nursing preferred. Trach/Vent knowledge is helpful, but we will train motivated candidates!
