As a Marketing Manager, you will  be responsible   for  delivering  custom and creative digital marketing ideas for our releases, while also managing multiple social media accounts for artists and the company. Ensuring  the efforts of the label to ensure the consistency of messaging and imaging between artists and their music.    You  are  responsible  the planning, development, pitching and execution of innovative marketing strategies to launch, brand and develop artists throughout the product lifecycle for assigned artist projects. This position supports the Sony Music  label  domestic artists.     What you will do: Marketing cycle & Creativity   Deliver  the creation, development, and execution of marketing strategies, packaging design, ad campaigns, and tour planning for assigned projects.   Participate in current and long-term creative planning to ensure a clear and consistent message for assigned projects while acting as  a central point  of contact and lead for all assigned projects. Work with all departments , aligning the  deadlines  and keeping a creative thread running throughout the projects.   Develop and execute creative imaging for marketing campaigns in conjunction with internal creative services or external  vendors . Select and approve visual imagery and creative direction of marketing tools while also overseeing the  timely  production of commercial and promotional products, including promotion materials, album packaging, videos, retail  displays  and posters.   Responsible of all digital marketing initiatives including the development of digital marketing concepts , design, implementation, and maintenance of social media presence.   Optimise campaign operations and marketing processes.   Actively  participate  in campaign planning activities, including but not limited to defining the marketing  objectives  for each campaign, creating, and managing project plans with clearly defined deliverables and resources, defining success criteria and KPIs and providing insights to inform campaign activities.   Coordinate workstreams and dependencies, track and communicate progress,  identify  obstacles, and ensure  they’re  addressed.   Ensure marketing campaigns are executed according to the agreed plan and budget, and flag potential risks and issues on time.    Optimize  frontline marketing domestic processes in the region to enable the team to grow, scale and deliver the expected revenue.   Partner closely and cultivate close, trusted relationships with artist management as well as other members of the artist team (touring, merch, publicists, etc).   Partner closely with internal teams (Digital, AM, A&R, etc) to ensure each campaign is creatively ‘best-in-class’, authentic to the artist’s voice, relevant to the fan base and reflective of the evolving marketplace.   Manage marketing budgets for each campaign.   Spot digital trends, understand new technologies and social media behavior and align these with business objectives to create new and innovative marketing opportunities and solutions.   Lead and coordinate social media, content development, streaming marketing, digital advertising & CRM campaigns for assigned artists.   Work closely with Digital Team, understand the streaming performance, patterns, and craft tailor made campaigns to maximize music consumption   Provide in-depth analysis measuring the success of campaigns/tools and communicate the results to all relevant stakeholders.   Any other duties assigned by the Company and/or Marketing Director from time to time.     Who you are: Undergraduate degree required   A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience working in content licensing, digital media, entertainment or technology companies; international experience is a plus   Very good negotiator with strong business acumen, strategic thinking, great attention to detail with a keen eye for data   Excellent problem-solving, combined with outstanding analytical skills, creativity and efficiency   Great verbal and written communications skills combined with interpersonal skills working across multiple cultures   Passion for music, digital media and innovation is a (big) plus   Experience in understanding and interpreting industry situations and translating this into actionable marketing strategies.   Strong understanding and ability to grow and train local workforces (ideally with strong experience in moderating and running workshops)   Confident public speaker with strong experience in pitching and presenting   Fluent in both English and Mandarin   What we give you: You join an inclusive, collaborative and global community where you have the opportunity to fuel the creative journey A modern office environment designed to foster productivity, creativity, and teamwork We invest in your professional growth & development   Equal Opportunities As an active part of a culturally and socially diverse society, Sony Music’s aim is that our workforce is diverse and inclusive.
