Responsible for preparing quantity takeoffs, volume calculations, technical drawings, and topographic data analysis for infrastructure and construction projects. This role utilizes AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop accurate technical documentation that supports engineering, estimating, budgeting, and project planning activities. Key Responsibilities Build 2D and 3D models from a variety of information sources Assist in preparation of construction work plans, project planning and scheduling Review drawings and make changes based on field input from segment Project Managers and Project Engineer Optimize grading/ earthworks quantities Perform concrete calculation for layout Perform detailed quantity takeoffs in 3D from the models for estimating purposes and / or to support progress claims during construction Requirements A Geomatics, Survey or Engineering degree with experience in the construction industry 1 to 5 years of experience in quantity takeoffs, topographic data processing, or civil design. Experienced in CAD programs such as Civil 3D, Microstation Inroads or Trimble Business Center Avid user of Excel and ideally experienced in BlueBean. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
